Description:

Located high above the Sonoran Desert on the Tohono O’odham Reservation, the observatory features the world’s largest collection of optical telescopes. Kitt Peak includes 22 telescopes and represents eight astronomical research institutions. The facility holds special night programs throughout the year.

Hours of Operation:

Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.; Guided tours daily 10:00 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Admission Details:

Adults $4; Children (6-12) $2.50; Children under 6 are free.
