Come to Tucson Just To Shop Here

Posted bySwanSongIIon 1/24/2009

Borderlands is great! I have made 2 trips to Tucson just to shop there. They have the best prices and selection I've found. I personally don't want sales people bothering me while I shop. But when I have a question the staff is always very helpful. Also, there's never been any issue with the quality of the merchandise. I love everything I've purchased from them.

Best store for Mexican Arts and Crafts

Posted byklady32on 8/25/2006

I have shopped all over Tucson and Nogales for the best deals in pottery, mistress dolls, swtchplates, and Talavera. Borderlands has the best prices hands down. The owner is always cheerful and helpful. Like items are grouped together and well marked. No, you do not have marble floors, soft music playing in ther background, or are you greeted with a hot cup of coffee. This is why they can keep the prices so reasonable. When looking for typical Mexican decorative elements start at Borderlands first. If you cannot find what you want, then go to the spiffier stores with higher prices or pay for the gas and aggravation and go south to Mexico. Me, I prefer to let Borderlands handle it all for me.

Spectacular Prices on Mexican Handcrafted items!

Posted byiseeon 6/16/2006

This store is one of Tucson's best kept secrets! Their prices are spectacular - the lowest that I have see for identical Mexican handcrafted items in Tucson! They can also, special order a wide variety of items for you from their catalog if you cannot find what you want in-stock.

Borderlands Outlet - Good experience!

Posted bywinterwomanon 4/7/2006

I found the people at Borderlands to be very helpful in putting together a deal on the phone, making the modification we needed, and having the items ready when needed. Not always easy to deal long distance, but we found Borderlands to be very accommodating. I'll shop there again!

Borderlands Store confusing

Posted bystopthenoisenowon 4/1/2006

I shopped at this store during the last 4th Ave street fair. The customer service was non existant and I found the store confusing to say the least. There was alot of furniture that seems to be unfinished and of what I would call fair quality. The other goods were unpriced and very out of order. I won't return to this store. I heard that the owners are in the wholesale business, perhaps this is where they do a much better job.
