My husband and I had just bought a house and called Discount Sanitation for trash service because all of our neighbors had their bins. They wanted payment right than and there; and we, being overwhelmed with all the stuff we had to do for our new home, didn't hasitate to comply. We wrote out the check that very day and it cleared within two. However, we were shocked that it would take two weeks for us to receive our bins. Two weeks came and went and still no bins. I called repeatedly and never got a response, even after leaving about 5 messages. I emailed and phoned but got no anwser. Finally I called from a diiferent number and they amazingly answered immediately. I told them my who I was and asked them what was going on with our trash service, and they said they had no recollection of me or my account. I told them my check cleared almost instantly and their company stamp was on the back. Still, I magically wasn't in their database. I confronted Linda Atkinson, the woman I had talked to initially, about how they could take my money and erase me from their records. She said they don't delete files. I threathened to report her the the Better Business Buerau, and it was only than that she offered to refund me. By the way, in took nearly two months for me to get my money back! I switched to Desert Dwellers Desposal and they are the best. I got my bin the same day I started service. It has been great. I highly recommand them.

This is beyond any doubt a nightmare company. They take your money... give you terrible service and loads of BS excuses. Avoid them like the plague. They only work when they feel like it. They make promises they do not honor. They want their money right away but only give you the service they promised when they feel like it. They have no physical address, and they do not return your calls unless you leave about 5 messages and then they just lie to you. After regularly missing my trash cans they told me they had wrong spelling of my street, but their bill to me was always addressed correctly. They screw up over and over again. Their cost is high ... no discount and you pay a premium in frustration and wasted time trying to contact them. Terrible fraudulent liars.

TJ at Discount Sanitaiton is rude and does not know anything about Customer Service. We had a problem with our route and he never returned our calls back. We left over 17 messages over 3 weeks. Finally I used a different name and he returned my call within 5 minutes. He said he did not know what I was talking about and he is the only person who is taking care of the office. TJ had no explanation and he didn't even say I am sorry about that. I do believe Discount Sanitation needs to re-evaluate their employee structure and think about the paying customers.

We had their service at our home on the NW-Ina/Thorneydale area and they did a good job. Most of the subdivision used them. When we moved we moved the service to. This was closer to Oro Valley. They said they had service there. The first 4 weeks, I had to call and have them pickup because they kept missing it. Out of the six weeks we had service, The only week I didn't have to call was on a holiday and they actually got it. The sixth week I gave up and cancelled service. This was 4 weeks ago and they still have not picked the cans up and I do not have a refund of the 2 months I have paid. I have called once a day for the last 2 weeks to get them to get there cans. I bet they'll still be there tonight. If you see others in your area with them you'll be ok. If not -Don't try them.
