Unnecessary execution

Hello Interested Parties; I'm sorry, but I would definitely not recommend this attorney to resolve your divorce, custody and child support issues because at the end of the day, you're no longer ahead than when you started and now I'm $10,000 in the hole. Her rates are outrageous, 250/hr - out-of-court and 350/hr in-court and a retainer of $3500 dollars. All the other reputable attorney's in Tucson charges the standard rate $200/hr and require a lower retainer deposit. I've called other attorney's in town to get feed-back and it doesn't seem that she has a good reputation. The common theme I heard was that she is vulgar among her peers, combative and micro manages her cases, which means it would cost you more money for something that usually takes 10 minutes to do- but will take her double the time ($$$). Unfortunately I did experience her stretching out things where it took too long to complete and getting billed for unnecessary trivial stuff. I should have researched her thoroughly before I hired her. It's hard when you're going through an emotional roller-coaster and you can't see these things right away. So I would suggest anyone who is reading this please try to resolve your issues through a mediator, rather than going to court and ending up a couple of steps behind where you started (in debt). If an attorney is you're last resort, find the one that charges the standard rate or go through the Legal Referral Service for a recommendation. Best of luck! Concerned Ms.
